Customer service software company Zendesk recently announced its financial results for the second quarter of this year, indicating $247 million in revenue, up 27% year-over-year, and net losses of $65 million. The actual operating loss for the quarter came at $32 million. For the third quarter of this year, San Francisco-based Zendesk is forecasting revenue of between $250 million to $255 million.
During the second quarter, Zendesk notably made a new addition to its board of directors by the name of Archana Agrawal, who is the Chief Marketing Officer of cloud collaboration platform Airtable. Her appointment was effective on the 27th of July, 2020. Currently, she also serves as a board member at software company MongoDB. Before joining Airtable, she spent seven years as an executive at Atlassian, and before that had a stint at IBM.
