Electric carmaker Lucid Motors has opened two new sales studios in the cities of Los Angeles and San Jose in California. The new Los Angeles studio marks Lucid’s second in Southern California while the San Jose studio marks its second in the Silicon Valley region. At the studios, visitors can see in-physical the recently unveiled Lucid Air electric sedan that’s set to begin production in the second quarter of next year. 

At Lucid’s new studios and just like the rest, customers can review options for all versions of the Lucid Air and make purchase decisions. The two new studios are the first set out of a total of 20 that Lucid plans to open across North America by the end of next year. The electric carmaker has plans to launch studios in major cities including Miami, Boston, New York City, and the D.C. Metro.

Lucid’s first vehicle, the Lucid Air, is a luxury electric sedan that starts at $69,900 for the basic version and goes up to $169,000 for the most premium version. It’s an electric car that’s capable of journeying up to 517 miles on full-charge, Lucid says.

The Lucid Air is being produced at a large factory in the state of Arizona, with the company aiming to begin delivering to customers in spring 2021.
