Solo.io, an API infrastructure startup, has announced that it’s secured $23 million in Series B funding co-led by venture capital firms Redpoint Ventures and True Ventures. The Series B round brings the total amount of funding raised by Solo.io since its inception to $37 million. Solo says it’ll use the new funding to scale its operations and keep up with what it says is “rapidly growing” customer demand.
Solo.io is an open-source API infrastructure platform that’s adopted by enterprises to build applications. Among the company’s customers include notable names like Sumo Logic, ParkMobile, and Vonage. Solo.io was founded by a female entrepreneur by the name of Idit Levine in 2017, with her having led the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based company as CEO since its inception.
According to PitchBook data, Solo.io’s Series B funding round gives it a valuation of $105 million.
