Popular auto brand Mazda just recently outed its sales reports for the month of August with the Japanese manufacturer reporting 25,816 vehicles sold during the month of August.

This represents a 9.9% year-on-year increase from the same period last month as some of its vehicles boosted the results for the period. Its MX-5 vehicle had a very strong month with a 29.6% sales increase month-over-month increasing its count to 1,169 models sold during August.

The company’s CX lineup inked firm sales last month with its CX-3, CX-5 and CX-9 vehicles posting increased sales for the period. These vehicles inked a total sales count of 16,727 indicating a 12% increase from last month and a 29% Year to date increase.

Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) sales also came in at 5,201 vehicles for the period marking a 10% jump from August last year.
