Jeff Wilke, the head of Amazon’s consumer business, has said that he’ll leave the company by early next year, notably after more than two decades working at the e-commerce giant. Wilke joined Amazon in 1999 and rose through the ranks to become the head of the company’s Worldwide Consumer business in 2016. Under his current role, he leads Amazon’s Stores, Prime service, operations, technology, and marketing. Before Amazon he had stints at companies including engineering and aerospace company AlliedSignal (now Honeywell) and Accenture.
A replacement for Wilke hasn’t been named by Amazon.
