Cloud software giant Salesforce has announced its financial results for the second quarter of this year, indicating $5.15 billion in revenue, up 29% year-over-year, and $2.6 billion in net income, compared to $91 million in the same period last year. For the first half of this year, Salesforce recorded a cummulative $9.4 billion in revenue and $2.7 billion in net income.
As of the end of the second quarter, Salesforce had $9.3 billion in cash on its balance sheet.
Forecast
For the third quarter of this year, Salesforce is forecasting revenues of roughly $5.3 billion. For the full year, the company is projecting revenues of between $20.7 billion – $20.8 billion.
