Colin Kaepernick, the famous American football quarterback best known for being an activist as regards to racial issues, has been announced as a new board member of online publishing platform Medium. Kaepernick has also reached a deal to begin producing content and editorial features for Momentum, a new Medium blog that’ll discuss “about the fight against anti-Black racism”. According to Medium’s press release, Kaepernick will interview athletes, activists, high profile leaders, and the likes to create content for the new blog.

Kaepernick’s board appointment was announced by Evan Williams, the company’s founder, who also co-founded and previously served as CEO of social media giant Twitter.
