At its event today, Google unveiled its third-generation family of consumer hardware products which include 2 new smartphones, a wireless charging accessory, a new tablet and a smart device which fit very well with the rest of its products including Nest which was folded into the Google hardware family early this year.

The new smartphones dubbed the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are designed from the inside out to provide for a smart experience with an in-built Assistant in addition to a super quality camera which count as an up for consumers.

The Pixel Slate as the new tablet is dubbed aims to bring the power and productivity of a Desktop to a much more portable device bundled with Chrome OS which makes for a powerful workstation and also a home theater experience.

The Google Home Hub is its smart device which enables management of a connected home from a single screen with its very smart display. It doesn’t come with a camera which Google noted was for more comfort and trust concerning privacy.

We also consciously did not put a camera on so that it was comfortable to us in the private spaces of your home like your bedroom,” Google VP of product management Diya Jolly noted in a presentation at the event.

The Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Home Hub and Slate tablet will go for $799, $899, $149 and $599 respectively.
