At the Consumer Electronics Show, LG is bringing an expanded lineup of its XBoom speakers, making two new additions in form of the XBoom model OL100 and XBoom model CL98. It touts the products as having “superior sound, unique features and exceptional convenience.”

The model CL98 delivers an output of 3,500W and makes use of a Compression Horn for generation of crisper and better audio across higher frequencies. Likewise the OL100 model dilvers a 2,000W output coupled with a Blast Horn (a folded air duct behind the driver designed to create acoustic sound pressure by directing air through an amplifying duct) for enhancement of bass performance and high-frequency reproduction.

The OL100 also features an exclusive sound setting dubbed Meridian Mode created in collaboration with British high-performance audio system manufacturer Meridian Audio which LG says results in clearer vocals and more responsive bass. It has a Grab & Move handle design that caters to portability when being moved to and from various positions.

LG’s 2019 XBoom products will also feature Karaoke Star, a new utility capable of suppressing vocals on almost any track, providing users the ability to perform some Karaoke on their favorite music. It’ll also come with a new Multi-Color Lighting feature, a range of preset lighting options that can sync with whatever track is being played during use.
