Microsoft has announced the acquisition of FSLogix, a next-generation app-provisioning platform that lessens the resources, time and labor needed to support the virtualization experience for organizations ranging from small businesses to large enterprises across various industries.
This September, Microsoft announced the Windows Virtual Desktop service that enables customers run a modern desktop experience on Azure standing out as the only cloud-based service that delivers a multi-user Windows 10 experience optimized for Office 365 ProPlus and also includes free Windows 7 Extended Security Updates.

It’s aiming to improve this with the acquisition of FSLogix which will benefit customers in a number of ways through integration of its products. Microsoft Office apps are some of the most highly used and commonly virtualized applications for businesses and will be gaining faster load times for user profiles in Outlook and OneDrive and also an enhancement in multi-user virtual environments with the addition of FSLogix.
