Electric carmaker Tesla has posted its delivery numbers for the third quarter of this year, revealing 139,300 car deliveries in the quarter, up more than 50% from 90,650 in the second quarter. During the third quarter, Model 3 and Model Y deliveries came at 124,100 while Model S and Model X deliveries came at 15,200. Tesla produced over 145,000 vehicles during the quarter.
Tesla’s Q3 2020 delivery numbers went up 43% compared to the previous year, with the electric carmaker having beaten a consensus of Wall Street estimations (137,000 as polled by FactSet) with its delivery figures. Tesla appears to be going strong even in the midst of a coronavirus pandemic that has widely affected automobile sales across the US.
