Honda’s new 2019 Acura ILX vehicle set to arrive in dealerships beginning from the 10th of October packs a new styling which lends it a more sophisticated look emphasized by its Diamond Pentagon grille and new front and rear designs in addition to bundling significant technology upgrades, an updated A-Spec sport appearance variant, premium interior features and the AcuraWatch technology.

The new model is available in Premium, Technology and A-Spec packages and starts at a $25,900 price (excluding $995 destination and handling) which is a $2,200 reduction from the preceding model. The A-Spec with Technology package now also comes at $31,550, a $3,550 reduction from the 2018 model.

It’s fitted with more luxurious and sporty interior features which include a more responsive dual-screen user interface which features updated graphics and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. All ILX models are powered by a 201-horsepower (SAE net), 2.4-liter, 16-valve DOHC i-VTEC engine coupled to a quick-shifting 8-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (8DCT) with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.

It comes with new Espresso, Graystone and Ebony interior color palettes and seven exterior colors consisting of Platinum White Pearl, Majestic Black Pearl, Performance Red Pearl, Canyon Bronze Metallic, A-Spec-exclusive Apex Blue Pearl and the already available Lunar Silver Metallic and Modern Steel Metallic.

  • Silver-finished dash trim with chrome insert
  • Machine-finished engine ignition button
  • Available new dual-screen On Demand Multi-Use Display™ (ODMD™ 2.0) interface with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ integration 
  • Standard AcuraWatch™ suite of active safety and driver-assistive technology

  • All-new 18-inch wheel
  • All-new sport seats with Ebony or Red leather with black Ultrasuede™ center panels and high-contrast stitching
  • Upgraded front grille and lower fascia with dark chrome

  • New headlights and taillights with darkened appearance 
  • Gloss-black decklid spoiler (previously body color) 
  • Graphite silver dash accent with chrome insert 
  • A-Spec-badged steering wheel with contrast stitching

As of current, The ILX auto lineup stands as a top choice in the luxury vehicle segment with lots of customers getting their hands on previous models from the Japanese auto manufacturer.
