U.K. based Deep Learning Tech Company Tractable gets $25 million Series B Round

London based Machine Learning and AI software company Tractable which develops its AI products for the accident and disaster recovery market has now raised a huge $25 million Series B funding round as indicated by a recent SEC Filing penned down and stamped by the company’s co-founder and CEO Alex Dalyac indicating a total amount of  $25,008,394 raised in equity by the company.

This round is very likely led by major tech investor IVP as the filing indicated an addition of another person to its board by name of Lonne Jaffe who is a reputed managing director at Insight Venture Partners having joined the firm last year.

He now sits across the company’s board along with the company’s co-founders Alexandre Daylac and and Razvan Ranca who hold the positions of CEO and CTO respectively in addition to Ignition Partners venture partner Nick Triantos who very likely took a board seat after Ignition led Tractab;e’s most recent Series A round of $8 million.


In total, Tractable is now known to have raised over $30 million (or $35 million) to be precise since its start November 2014.

Tractable counts a very impressive team which includes its 3rd co-founder Adrien Cohen who is a founding team member of South East Asian major e-commerce player Lazada notable for being backed to the tune of over $4 Billion whilst being majorly (83%) owned by Alibaba along with several other notable technology players also including its CEO Daylac who was at $5 Billion+ major European Internet Incubator Rocket Internet prior to co-founding Tractable.

With the Machine Learning and AI space being a very major and rapidly growing market, Tractable represents an addition to the long list of companies looking to provide intuitive services and re-invent several industries through the use of Artificial Intelligence as the field continues to expand rapidly with more research and development being made in the field every now and then.
