Health-care giant UnitedHealth Group is in discussions to acquire DivvyDose, an online pharmacy startup, seeking to pay about $300 million for the startup, according to a report [paywall] from Bloomberg. DivvyDose is an online pharmacy upstart that delivers customers their medications in individual packages and with the dosage information printed on each packet. The company is based out of the US state of Illinois. As a private company, DivvyDose is known to have raised over $4 million in funding (PitchBook data). It competes with other US e-pharmacy counterparts such as Blink Health, PharmaPoint, PipelineRx, and PillPack, which itself was scooped up by Amazon in a $753 million deal in 2018.

DivvyDose would fit very well for UnitedHealth Group, which owns the largest health insurer in the US as well as one of the country’s top pharmacy benefits managers, OptumRx. DivvyDose could come in handy in diversifying’s UnitedHealth’s business. The online pharmacy market is growing globally, expected to top $150 billion by 2027, and with DivvyDose, UnitedHealth could ride on that growth and bolster its business. For now, however, both companies are reported to be only in discussions, with no guarantee of a formal deal as a result of the talks.

  • i am a successful business owner and father. I got one of these already programmed blank ATM cards that allows me withdraw a maximum of $5,000 daily for 30 days. I am so happy about these cards because I received mine last week and have already used it to get $20,000. Skylink technology is giving out these cards to support people in any kind of financial problem. I must be sincere to you, when i first saw the advert, I believed it to be illegal and a hoax but when I contacted this team, they confirmed to me that although it is illegal, nobody gets caught while using these cards because they have been programmed to disable every communication once inserted into any Automated Teller Machine(ATM). If interested get through to them on mail: skylinktechnes@yahoo.com  or  whatsapp/telegram: +1(213)785-1553
