Mazda has outed the 2019 version of its MX-5 Miata which bundles a lot of enhancements aimed at customers needs while starting at a suggested retail price of $25,730 which counts as a very reasonable price for customers.
The new vehicle is built with a SKYACTIV-G 2.0-liter engine which boasts of 17% more power and greater efficiency than the one built for last year’s model. The new MX-5 is alo quicker, more responsive and is aimed at being more engaging to drive through an adherence to Mazda’s Jinba Ittai—“horse and rider as one”—engineering philosophy.

Notable specs include a standard rearview camera, Smart City Brake Support low-speed automatic emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, new aluminum steering column to save weight versus the previous steel unit, standard tilt/telescoping steering column with 30mm of telescoping and 42mm of tilt range available brown soft top for MX-5 Grand Touring models and package options at its trim level available for selection.

The new MX-5 Grand Sport model is offered exclusively with a black soft top (brown option also available for the Grand Touring model) as standard and stands as an entry point to the MX-5 family, It comes bundled with 16-inch alloy wheels, a 6-speaker audio system which includes headrest speakers, power windows, dual power side mirrors, Mazda Connect infotainment, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, parking brake and shifter knob and Mazda Advanced Keyless Entry among other features.

It can be supplemented with the i-ACTIVSENSE Sport Package which brings additional features which include low-speed Smart City Brake Support automatic emergency braking, Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Lane-Departure Warning.
The Grand Touring model upgrades from the Sport model with features including 17-inch dark silver wheels, body color interior trim, rain-sensing windshield wipers, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with Homelink technology, Sirius XM Satellite radio with a 4-month trial subscription, Adaptive Front-lighting System, a 9-speaker Bose Premium audio system, and a fabric-lined soft top for greater sound insulation among other specs.

Both versions of the vehicle come with the SKYACTIV-G 2.0-liter engine which outputs 181 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 151 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm with an improvement in performance thanks to a host of new internal upgrades.
