Pachyderm, a San Francisco-based data science startup, has announced that it’s raised $16 million in Series B funding led by M12, the corporate venture fund of Microsoft, with additional participation from the likes of Decibel Ventures, Benchmark, and Y Combinator. Under the terms of the investment, M12’s Global Head Nagraj Kashyap is taking a board seat at Pachyderm. With the new funding, Pachyderm has now raised a total of $28 million in funding since its inception.
Pachyderm is an enterprise-grade, open-source data science platform that helps users to build machine learning and artificial intelligence pipelines.
