Enterprise communications company Slack has announced its financial results for the second quarter of this year, reporting $216 million in revenues, up 49% year-over-year, and an operating loss of $68.6 million. Slack added 8,000 net new paid customers during the quarter and now has over 130,000 enterprise customers in total. Out of that number, 87 each contribute more than $1 million annually to Slack’s revenue while nearly 1,000 each contribute more than $100,000 annually. 

Forecast

For the third quarter of this year, Slack is forecasting revenues of between $222 million to $225 million. For the entire year, the San Francisco-based company is forecasting revenues of between $870 million to $876 million.
