Fitbit has unveiled four new wearables : Fitbit Versa Lite, Fitbit Inspire, Fitbit Inspire HR and Fitbit Ace 2. If something sounds familiar, it’s because the Inspire and Inspire HR were spotted recently on Fitbit’s website without an official announcement. But that has come today, along with two other new wearables.

Fitbit Versa Lite

This is a lower-priced edition of the Fitbit Versa, with its core features like :

  • 24/7 heart rate and sleep tracking
  • Connected GPS
  • 4+ day battery life
  • Smartphone notifications
  • 15+ goal-based exercise modes
  • An SpO2 (peripheral capillary oxygen saturation) sensor that Fibit says has the potential to estimate changes in blood oxygen levels and help track new health indicators, like sleep apnea.

It features a simple-one button, and is lightweight and swimproof (water resistant to 50 meters). It’ll retail for $160.

Fibit Ace 2

This is an acitivity tracker targeted at kids aged 6+, that Fitbit says helps teach healthy habits and encourage more active time spent with family and friends. Features include :

  • Swim-proof design (water resistant to 50M), with a bumper to protect the screen during kid-related activities
  • New animated clock faces
  • Colorful avatars and cover photos to personalize profiles on the Fibit app

Made for kids, parents have to create a Fitbit family account in order to set up the Ace 2 tracker with their child’s account before use. This ensures monitoring of kids’ activities.

The Fitbit Versa Lite and Fitbit Inspire HR are priced at $160 and $100 respectively, while the Fitbit Inspire and Fitbit Ace 2 go for $70. They’ll be available this month, marking the first time the Inspire line-up will be directly available to consumers, as they were previously marketed for enterprises only.
