Evaneos, A Paris based startup operating a booking platform focused on tours and experiences for consumers has now raised $80 million in a Series D funding round co-led by Partech and Level Equity boosting total equity raised by the 9 year old startup to nearly $110 million.
This stands as of the highest rounds raised by a French startup this year joining the ranks of fellow travel startups like Klook which nabbed $200 million in funding early last month and several others in the global tourism market.
As per the company, 300.000 customers have taken on tours booked through its platform since its start 9 years ago with the company also being profitable in its French home market where it counts a team of 180 employees.
Using its service, Consumers can search for a list from over 5,000 event schedules and further work with an agent to customize details for delivery of the best experience. The company focuses on customization and high-end hefty transaction to give it a competitive edge in the travel market.

As per its site, It counts over 800,000 members, 160 destinations, 1,200 local agencies and 5,500 customizable tours across its network operating across several countries including Italy, U.K, Sweden, Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland, Canada and the U.S among others.
