LG has announced it will begin rolling out support for Amazon Alexa on 2019 TV models in 14 countries. The TVs that’ll support the virtual assistant are those featuring Thin Q AI including LG NanoCell TVs, OLED TVs, and UHD TVs. The update will begin for North American customers this month followed by Europe and Asia in coming weeks.

With Alexa, owners of LG TVs will be able to ask questions, control their smart home products and access more than 90,000 Alexa Skills on the go. LG says its TVs can handle — voice command — requests of greater complexity thanks to more advanced conversational voice recognition technology.

Along with Alexa support, LG 2019 OLED TVs and select NanoCell TVs will also receive AirPlay 2 and Apple HomeKit support, similar to an update recently dished out by Samsung to its latest TVs.
