According to a report from Bloomberg, Samsara has raised $400 million in additional funding, the funding being an extension of the company’s most recent financing round rather than a new round itself. The funding, however, values Samsara at $5.4 billion, about 14% lower than a $6.3 billion valuation that the company clinched when it last raised funding. Investors including Franklin Templeton, General Atlantic, Warburg Pincus, Andreessen Horowitz, General Catalyst, and Tiger Global provided the new funding, Bloomberg reports.

The new funding adds up the total equity funding that Samsara has raised since its inception to about $930 million.
