Samsung has unveiled two new laptops: the Notebook 7 and Notebook 7 Force, two new devices very similar to Apple’s MacBook Pro. This debut is just ahead of this year’s Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). The Notebook 7 is similar to the MacBook Pro thanks to features like a center-aligned trackpad and the same keyboard arrangement. But it differs from the MacBook Pro with features like several connectivity ports.
The Samsung Notebook 7 is available in 13-inch and 15-inch models. Features of the new laptop include:
- Intel 8th generation Core Processor.
- Up to 16GB memory .
- Up to 512GB SSD storage.
- 720p HD camera.
- Backlit keyboard.
- Fingerprint access.
- 55Wh battery.
- Intel UHD Graphics.
- Dolby Atmos speakers.
- Ports: 1 USB-C, 2 USB 3.0, HDMI, and microSD.
- 1.29 kg (weight)

All features listed above are the basic features of the Notebook 7 13-inch model. The 15-inch model slightly differs with 1.69 kg weight, an SSD expandable slot and Nvidia GeForce MX250 (External Graphics model). The 15-inch version comes in Internal Graphics and External Graphics models.
Features of the higher-end model, the Notebook 7 Force include:
- Intel 8th generation Core Processor.
- Up to 24GB memory.
- Up to 512GB SSD storage (+2 expandable slots).
- 720p HD camera.
- Backlit keyboard.
- Fingerprint access.
- 43Wh battery.
- Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650.
- Dolby Atmos speakers.
- Ports: 1 USB-C, 2 USB 3.0, HDMI, RJ45(LAN) and microSD.
The Notebook 7 and Notebook 7 Force will be made available for purchase later this year, retailing for $1,000 and $1,500 respectively. They’ll first be released in South Korea and Hong Kong, followed by the U.S. and Brazil. The Notebook 7 will also be released in China.
