German high-tech audio hardware manufacturer Sennheiser has unveiled a new addition to its product ecosystem, A surround sound gaming headset, The GSP 550 offering gamers the ability to experience games in a whole new way with its 7.1 Dolby Surround Sound, high-fidelity audio, improved mic performance and increased comfort and toughness.
The new device is paired with a glossy and innovative Surround Dongle geared to optimize the sound experience with a single click of its Dolby button. Its software lets the users shape and customize the sound experience with its various surround sound modes and 4 equalizer settings for gaming, music, esport, and an off setting which outs a neutral sound performance.

It features a proprietary open speaker system from the German consumer electronics manufacturer enabling delivery of natural sound performance which balances excellent clarity with enhanced low frequency response adding excitement to the gaming experience while creating an expanded soundstage.
Its open acoustic design features uniquely positioned speakers within its ear cups that channel sound directly into the users ears. With its ergonomic design and customized fit, the GSP 550 keeps the gaming experience seamless and comfortable with its high-spec features.
The new headset comes with an advanced, solid metal hinge with a 2-axis mechanism which gives the earcups greater freedom of movement with a durable system which pivots evenly to conform accurately to both narrow and broad jawlines for an improved fit.

Sennheiser integrated an innovative adjustable contact pressure mechanism into the GSP 550’s headband which can be adjusted to the user’s taste to ensure secure and perfect feel.
With its swath of high-end features also including an advanced broadcast quality microphone with high-quality noise cancellation, Three side tone settings and a a volume control on the ear cup offers convenient on-the-fly adjustment among other features, The new headset will be available starting from the end of next month with a retail price of $249.95.
