IKEA’s services platform TaskRabbit which it snapped up through an acquisition last year will now be expanding into Canada, It’s now 3rd market after the U.S. and Britain as it takes its job outsourcing platform to more regions.

The Swedish retail giant would be launching the service in Toronto on Tuesday in addition to a rollout in Vancouver next month and a launch in Montreal by 2019.

“Beginning in October, TaskRabbit will also roll out in select IKEA Canada stores and online,” TaskRabbit penned in a statement.

Initially kicked off in 2008, TaskRabbit grew into one of the major small job platforms in the U.S. having raised over $37 million across several rounds for expansion with the likes of Founders Fund, Shasta Ventures, 500 Startups, First Round Capital, Allen & Company and Baseline Ventures being notable backers.

IKEA acquired the service September last year to provide its customers with additional ways to access flexible and affordable service solutions with its on-demand services platform.

TaskRabbit as of current is present in 45 cities across the U.S. and Britain with this expansion marking additional regions for its service.
