At the recently concluded Monterey Car Week event, German auto giant and consumer darling Audi took to the state with a new concept vehicle, The all-electric Audi PB 18 e-tron which represents a sweeping vision for the high-performance sports car of tomorrow with its stylish and sleek design grabbing eyeballs and indicating Audi’s aim to push boundaries.
The car’s concept and existing lines were crafted Audi’s Malibu design studio, The location where its designs are consistently updated for the future with its technical concept benefiting from Audi’s many years of taking the trophy at the Le Mans racing series.

Experts at Audi Sport GmbH, Audi’s high performance subsidiary is responsible for its implementation bringing a unique vehicle whose “PB 18 e-tron” abbreviated name refers both to the Pebble Beach venue used for its unveil and the technological DNA it shares with the successful LMP1 racing car Audi R18 e-tron.
Gael Buzyn who heads Audi’s Malibu design loft states on the car “We want to offer the driver an experience that is otherwise available only in a racing car like the Audi R18. That’s why we developed the interior around the ideal driver’s position in the center. Nevertheless, our aim was to also give the PB 18 e-tron a high degree of everyday usability, not just for the driver, but also for a potential passenger.”

The new vehicle’s build consist of a mix of aluminum, carbon and multi-material composites which ensures the body has a low basic weight coupled with an innovative and comparatively light solid-state battery which outputs a total weight of less than 1,550 kg (3,417.2 lb) expected for the vehicle.
Measuring 4.53 meters long, 2 meters wide and just 1.15 meters tall, This dimensions speaks of a polished and seamlessly designed vehicle aimed for consumers with its wheelbase measuring 2.70 meters (8.9 ft) while its overhangs stay compact.
