The 2019 Volkswagen Atlas Volkswagen

Earlier this month, Volkswagen rolled out the 100,000th Atlas SUV off its production line in Chattanooga, Tennessee which marked a notable milestone for the 3,700 members of its team based there. Production of the vehicle which counts as the company’s largest SUV model began 2 years ago and has witnessed it find new homes with thousands of American families who purchase the vehicle with a big interior, fun-to-drive chassis and useful technology.

The 100,00th SUV rolled out was a top-of-the-line edition 2019 Atlas SEL Premium in Pacific Blue, with Shetland V-Tex leatherette interior. For this new model, three key driver assistance features — Front Assist, Rear Traffic Alert and Blind Spot Monitor are now standard.

Volkswagen put out a short video of how bundling a vehicle with lots of key features and systems come about through precision and teamwork. The video shows Atlas vehicles come to life from Scratch in a 2 minutes summary that pinpoints the key processes.
