Daimler appoints Bettina Fetzer as new Mercedes Benz Marketing head

Mercedes Benz has named a new Marketing head by name of Bettina Fetzer, a well-known Daimler executive who is now moving from the position of Head of Global Communications for Mercedes Benz cars. Starting from the 1st of November,  Fetzer who is in charge of global products and brands PR at Mercedes-Benz Cars will now lead internal and external marketing communications efforts of the Mercedes-Benz brand.

Since 2004, Fetzer has held various positions at Daimler with a long experience in the marketing fields as head of Mercedes-Benz business communication and as head of global communication for Mercedes-Benz Cars.

As an ambassador, She notably supported the creation of the new “Leadership 2020” corporate culture at Daimler and has played a further role in utilizing new influencers and platforms as well as  development of press communication and brand communication pushed forward with digitization.

“I am delighted to have gained Bettina Fetzer, a proven communications expert and outstanding executive as Head of Mercedes-Benz Marketing. Under her leadership, we will further develop the successful brand work of recent years as well as the digitization of our customer contacts.” Daimler executive and board member Britta Seeger said in a statement announcing the new appointment.
