Samsung has debuted a new line-up of wearables – the Galaxy Watch Active smartwatch, Galaxy Fit/Galaxy Fit e activity tracker and Galaxy Buds (wireless earbuds). Samsung also stole the show with the debut of the Galaxy Fold, a foldable smartphone that combines the display of a mobile phone and tablet in one device.

Galaxy Watch Active :

This new smartwatch sports features such as blood pressure monitoring (available in only 5 countries), a stress tracking app and the ability to be controlled by voice. Compatible with both Android and iOS devices, its features include :

  • 360 x 360 AMOLED display
  • A 20mm (interchangeable) strap
  • 230mAh battery
  • 768MB RAM + 4GB internal memory
  • Wireless charging
  • The Tizen-based Wearable OS 4.0
  • Exynos 9110 Dual core 1.15 GHz (wireless access point) 

Its available in Silver, Black, Rose, Gold and Sea Green colors.


Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Fit e

The Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Fit e are new lightweight activity trackers that automatically starts tracking user activity when one walks, runs, bikes, rows, hop and engage in other physical activities.

Users can select from over 90 activities available in the Samsung Health app that’s paired to the tracker via a smartphone. With the trackers, they can also receive alerts and messages or check widgets – like alarm, calendar or weather – which include information synced from a compatible smartphone.

Features of the Galaxy Fit include :

  • 0.95” full color AMOLED display
  • 512KB internal RAM, 2048KB external RAM and 32MB external ROM
  • Bluetooth connectivity
  • 120mAh battery
  • Water resistance
  • Realtime OS
  • Heart rate monitor (HRM), Accelerometer and Gyroscope – sensors.
  • Wireless charging (near-field communication)
Samsung has also debuted the Galaxy S10, the latest addition to the S series with the world’s first Dynamic AMOLED display, a 123-degree field of view lens, up to 1TB memory (S10+ only) and more.

  • 128KB internal RAM and 4MB external ROM

  • Water resistance

  • Wireless charging (Samsung Pogo only)

The Galaxy Fit is available in Black and Silver colors while the Galaxy Fit e is available in Black, White and Yellow colors.

Galaxy Buds

The Galaxy Buds are new wireless earbuds with sound by Samsung owned AKG, that offers up to six hours of Bluetooth streaming and up to five hours of calls on full charge. It comes with a compact case that holds full charge for up to seven hours, able to give the earbuds 1.7 hours o battery life on a 15 minute quick charge.
