The Xbox Adaptive Controller released this year for players with limited hand and arm mobility packed with innovative solutions bundled for the aim of making gaming more accessible has recently been named to the  “Best Inventions of 2018” list unveiled by Time Magazine.

The device inspired by a Microsoft hackathon comes at a cost of $100 and was developed with input from groups like the Cerebral Palsy Foundation for learning and research on creating the best tools for gamers with mobility issues.

It can be connected to external buttons, switches, joysticks and mounts giving players the ability to customize their setups. The controller counts as the most flexible adaptive controller made by a major gaming company and can be used to play Xbox One and Windows 10 PC games. It also supprts Xbox Wireless Controller features such as button remapping for fun gameplay.
