Apple has debuted a new MacBook Pro with 8th- and 9th-generation Intel Core processors, marking the first time the MacBook Pro is coming with eight cores. The updated MacBook Pro is Apple’s fastest so far, delivering two times faster performance than a quad-core MacBook Pro and 40% more performance than a 6-core one.

The new MacBook Pro also features:

• The Apple T2 Security Chip
• Retina display (500 nits of brightness)
• All-day battery life
• Super-fast SSDs and as usual, macOS
• Touch ID
• Thunderbolt 3 ports for data transfer
• A Force Touch trackpad
• Support for the P3 wide colour gamut and True Tone technology

It comes in 13-inch and 15-inch versions that retail for $1,800 and $2,400 respectively.
