Sendinblue, a digital marketing upstart, has announced that it’s raised $160 million in Series B funding from investors including Bridgepoint, BlackRock, Bpifrance, and Partech. The new funding follows a $35 million Series A raised by the company in 2017 and now brings the total amount of funding that it’s raised since its inception to just shy of $200 million. Sendinblue, an ‘all-in-one’ digital marketing platform, says it’ll use its new capital to drive product expansion and accelerate its growth in the North American market.

Sendinblue says it’s seen 100% year-over-year growth in the U.S, which is the French company’s fastest-growing market. Altogether, Sendinblue now serves over 180,000 customers globally, supported by about 400 employees across France, Canada, Germany, India, and the US. The company, which was founded in 2012, operates its headquarters in the French city of Paris. Sendinblue is a digital marketing platform used by businesses to run digital marketing campaigns and facilitate customer interaction. The company’s attraction lies in an ‘all-in-one’ software suite that integrates functions from different platforms and makes them readily accessible in one place. Sendinblue mainly caters to small and mid-sized businesses rather than large enterprise customers.

“Sendinblue is positioned in a growing market as more and more SMBs are going digital, especially in the past few months of lockdown,” Olivier Nemsguern, a Partner at Bridgepoint, said in a press statement. “We seek investments that meet a critical market need. Sendinblue is the perfect example of a company that will make an impact.”

Sendinblue as a company was founded in 2012.
