BMW has unveiled a new premium open-top sports car packed with a classic fabric soft-top, an intuitive body design and formalist, driver-focused interior dubbed the Z4 which combines typical sports car dynamism with advanced features and an exceptional feeling.

It counts as ‘unadulterated driving pleasure meets state-of-the-art powertrain, chassis, operating and connectivity technology” as described by BMW set to debut the vehicle at the Mondial de l’Automobile Paris 2018 event next month.

The Z4 sports a classical soft-top rood, a uniquely designed interior crafted with the driver in focus in addition to upgraded engines, a new chassis design and a very strong body structure. Broad tracks, well balanced proportions and a close-packed wheelbase improves the Z4’s handling agility with its central seating position, miniaturized weight and low centre of gravity enabling a very pleasurable driving experience.

The new BMW Operating System 7.0 built into the Z4 makes use of 10.25-inch colour displays for both the central monitor and digital instrument cluster which takes its operation to an enhanced level for the driver who stands as the central focus during its design as stated.

BMW Z4 M40i as it’s full name ensures is fitted with a six-cylinder in-line engine developing 250 kW/340 hp packed with standard features including variable sport steering, M Sport brakes, Adaptive M Sport suspension, an electronically controlled M Sport rear differential and 18-inch M light-alloy wheels and high-performance tyres which ensures a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.6 seconds for the vehicle.

Packed with all these unique features for the best driving experience, The new roadster from BMW will be debuting at the French capital of Paris during the Mondial de l’Automobile Paris event holding from the 4th to 14th of October which will feature other new BMW offerings in addition to more from several automobile brands.

BMW’s new debuts at the event which will include the Z4, 8 Series Coupe, X5 and M5 Competition highlights its corporate strategy focused on design, automated driving, connectivity, electrification and services (D-ACES) based on its role in shaping the future of personal mobility.

It also notably spotlights BMW’s model offensive in the luxury segment and the continued expansion of its X lineup as it aims to add more specs, features and interactions for its cars to deploy the best experiences for drivers.
