AT&T has announced support for cryptocurrency payments that’ll be processed by BitPay, one of the largest blockchain payments company with $1 billion in annual transactions. AT&T customers will be able to choose BitPay as a payment option when they log on to their accounts online or via the myAT&T app.

This move marks AT&T as the first major U.S. mobile carrier to add a cryptocurrency payment option for customers, even amid volatility in digital currencies. AT&T is joining other major brands like Newegg, Overstock, Dish Network, Gyft, and Microsoft that accept crypto payments.
